Piroctone Olamine helps inhibit 5-alpha reductase activity, making it an effective antiseborrhoeic agent for managing excess oil at the scalp and skin. It is well suited to oily and acne-prone skin types, and forms a key part of targeted dandruff care.

It also contains a rich source of polyunsaturated fats and antioxidant activity including Tocopherols that contribute to the superior free radical scavenging and lipid support, protecting the skin from environmental stressors. 

Raspberry Seed Oil also offers an impressive level of Ellagitannins, considered to be one of the most powerful classes of anti-oxidants. The oil helps promotes skin regeneration and repair, which is beneficial for acne-prone skin that may be damaged or inflamed. Colloidal Oatmeal helps to soothe irritated skin by forming a protective barrier, reducing inflammation, and restoring moisture, making it effective for relieving itching and discomfort associated with various skin conditions like acne, eczema and dermatitis.

Sunflower oil has a low comedogenic rating, meaning it is less likely to clog pores compared to other oils, making it suitable for acne-prone skin. Sunflower oil is high in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that helps regulate sebum production. Acne-prone skin often has lower levels of linoleic acid, and using sunflower oil can help balance oil production. Sunflower oil contains anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce redness and inflammation associated with acne. Rub the bar directly onto wet skin to achieve a thick, creamy lather. Wash off thoroughly.

Keep the bar dry and in a free draining dish to ensure you get the most from the bar.

Avoid contact with your eyes. Please keep your soap dry in between uses to ensure you get the most out of the bar. The drier it stays the longer it will last.
