Hair loss can affect both men & women. The most common type being Androgenetic Alopecia, Male and Female Pattern Baldness, characterized by gradual thinning of hair on the scalp. It typically occurs due to genetic predisposition and hormonal factors.
Autoimmune Alopecia is a condition characterized by hair loss, which can occur in various forms and affect individuals of all ages and genders. It can manifest as patchy bald spots (alopecia areata), gradual thinning of the hair on the scalp (androgenetic alopecia), or total loss of hair from the scalp and body (alopecia universalis).
Both types of Alopecia can have significant emotional and psychological effects on those affected, leading to feelings of self-consciousness, low self-esteem. & even depression

The best way to naturally address these types of hair loss is to:

  • reduce follicle shrinkage
  • inhib the effects of the DHT androgen hormone
  • stimulate the hair-growth cycle
  • increase hair strength to avoid further thinning & brittle hair

50ml

This oil doesn’t smell amazing due to the high concentration of onion & garlic oils.

1. Key Benefits

Block DHT (dihydrotetosterone)

Saw Palmetto, Coffee, Licorice, Onion, Garlic all help to inhib the effects of the DHT androgen hormone responsible for androgenic baldness.

Stimulate Scalp Circulation

The sulfur compounds in onion, garlic & Licorice help improve blood circulation to the scalp. Enhanced blood flow ensures that hair follicles receive an adequate supply of oxygen and nutrients, promoting optimal conditions for hair growth

Strengthen Hair Follicles

Garlic contains sulfur, which is necessary for the production of collagen and keratin, two proteins crucial for hair strength and elasticity. Regular use of garlic may help strengthen the hair shafts, reducing breakage and promoting longer, thicker hair growth.

Antioxidant protection

Licorice contains antioxidants such as flavonoids and saponins, which help protect the scalp and hair follicles from damage caused by free radicals. This protection reduces oxidative stress and maintains the health of the hair, preventing premature hair loss and damage.

Increase strength, shine & elasticity

Coffee oil contains antioxidants and nutrients such as vitamins B3 (niacin) and B5 (pantothenic acid), which nourish the hair follicles and promote stronger, thicker hair growth. This can lead to improved hair density and reduced breakage.

2. Key Ingredients

SAW PALMETTO

Saw palmetto oil contains compounds that inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a hormone linked to hair loss, particularly in individuals with androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness). By reducing DHT levels, saw palmetto oil may help prevent hair follicle miniaturization and extend the hair growth phase.

Saw palmetto oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce scalp inflammation. Inflammation is associated with conditions such as alopecia areata and seborrheic dermatitis, which can disrupt the hair growth cycle.

Black Cumin Seed
Black cumin seed oil is packed with essential nutrients such as vitamins (including vitamin E, niacin, and thiamine), minerals (like calcium, iron, and zinc), and fatty acids (especially omega-3 and omega-6). These nutrients are crucial for maintaining healthy hair follicles and supporting optimal hair growth.

Coffee Seed Oil

Caffeine, a key component of coffee oil, has been shown to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth. It penetrates the scalp and helps to increase blood circulation, which in turn encourages the growth of stronger, healthier hair.

Caffeine in coffee oil has been found to inhibit the effects of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a hormone associated with hair loss. By blocking DHT, coffee oil may help prevent or slow down hair loss, particularly in individuals with androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness).

Coffee oil contains antioxidants and nutrients such as vitamins B3 (niacin) and B5 (pantothenic acid), which nourish the hair follicles and promote stronger, thicker hair growth. This can lead to improved hair density and reduced breakage.

Licorice Oil

Licorice has been shown to inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Excessive DHT levels are associated with hair loss and follicle miniaturization. By blocking this enzyme, licorice can help prevent hair loss and promote healthier hair growth.

Licorice contains antioxidants such as flavonoids and saponins, which help protect the scalp and hair follicles from damage caused by free radicals. This protection reduces oxidative stress and maintains the health of the hair, preventing premature hair loss and damage.

Licorice enhances blood circulation to the scalp, ensuring that hair follicles receive an adequate supply of oxygen and nutrients. Improved circulation stimulates hair growth and strengthens the hair roots, resulting in healthier, more resilient hair.

Garlic

Garlic is rich in vitamins and minerals essential for hair health, including vitamin C, vitamin B6, selenium, and manganese. These nutrients nourish the hair follicles and support the production of keratin, the protein that makes up the hair shaft.

Garlic contains sulfur, which is necessary for the production of collagen and keratin, two proteins crucial for hair strength and elasticity. Regular use of garlic may help strengthen the hair shafts, reducing breakage and promoting longer, thicker hair growth.

Onion Oil

Onion has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

Onion contains sulfur compounds, particularly sulfur-containing amino acids like cysteine. These compounds are essential for the production of keratin, the protein that makes up the hair strands. By providing sulfur, onion helps stimulate hair follicles and promote healthy hair growth.

Marshmallow oil is rich in mucilage, a gel-like substance that has excellent moisturizing
properties. It helps hydrate the scalp and hair strands, preventing dryness and brittleness
that can impede hair growth.

Improved moisture retention can lead to healthier hair growth by reducing breakage and promoting elasticity

The soothing and anti-inflammatory properties of marshmallow oil help calm
irritated scalp conditions.

It can alleviate scalp inflammation caused by conditions such as dandruff, eczema,
or psoriasis, creating a more conducive environment for hair follicles to thrive.

Marshmallow oil can enhance blood circulation to the scalp when massaged in, promoting nutrient delivery to hair follicles.

Improved circulation supports hair growth by
ensuring follicles receive an adequate supply of oxygen and nutrients.

Let's Talk Hair Health

The scalp produces natural oils called sebum, which helps moisturize and protect the hair near the roots. However, these oils have difficulty traveling down the length of the hair shaft, especially in longer hair, leaving the ends more susceptible to dryness.

The ends of the hair are more exposed to environmental stressors such as UV radiation, pollution, and harsh weather conditions. Over time, these factors can lead to damage, dryness, and breakage.

Chemical treatments such as bleaching, coloring, perming, or straightening can weaken the hair structure and strip it of moisture, making the ends more prone to dryness and damage.

Excessive use of heat styling tools like blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons can cause heat damage to the hair, especially the ends. This can lead to dryness, brittleness, and split ends over time.

Regular trimming of the hair removes split ends and prevents them from traveling up the hair shaft, maintaining the overall health and appearance of the hair. Without regular trims, split ends can worsen and contribute to dryness and damage in the ends.

The porosity of the hair can also affect moisture retention. Hair with higher porosity tends to absorb moisture more quickly but also loses it faster, leaving the ends drier.

Normal to Oily Shampoo & Conditioner Bar

How To Care For Your Bar

1. Keep your bars on a free draining surface and away from water in between washes.

2. Use a sustainable soap dish like the bamboo soap dish on our website. This will ensure your bars last a very long time.

3. When your bar is about to break squeeze it in your hands to make it solid. Let it dry out and you will get close to 7-10 more washes.

4. Going travelling simply pop your bars into one of our hessian bags and you are good to go.

On your return simply wash and dry the bag ready for next time you travel.

3 Reasons To Go Non-Toxic

1. Your scalp is incredibly absorbent. Did you know that the skin on your head or rather the skin on your scalp is able to absorb 4 times more than the skin on the rest of your body. It makes sense to ensure your scalp stays healthy to avoid scalp stress and the absorption of toxic chemicals that are then released into your blood stream.

 2. Enjoy a stress free, healthy scalp. If you avoid exposing your scalp to dangerous toxic chemicals you will be far less likely to develop irritations like psoriasis or dandruff.

 3. Every morning and night known pollutants are being washed down our shower drains over and over again polluting our water ways and eco- systems. That’s not cool at all.

Make the change for your health and the wellbeing of the environment.

You'll be amazed at just how fantastic our products are for you and your family.
